The Dark Realm is a place inborn in all of our hearts-- those who have them, that is. Two simple facts are known by most all of us. All of our hearts contain Darkness, and our hearts are connected. What many do not know, however, is that our hearts are connected on two planes of existence. Light and Darkness. The heart itself is a being of Twilight, existing of mixed emotions of Light and Dark. The Light is what keeps us all alive. This is the cause of our existence. The Dark is connected in a different way. Through the Dark Realm. The hatred of all sentient beings rest here. As the hatred grows, the Dark Realm becomes more full. Until now, the populating of the Worlds has accounted for the growing hatred. With each new life, the Dark Realm grows. But as society has evolved, it's greed and anger has grown faster. This causes the Dark realm to overflow, creating the beings we know as heartless. And each time a Heartless steals a human's heart, the hatred of the humans towards Heartless grows. And with it, the amount of hatred in the Dark Realm. Creating more heartless. Who kill more people. This is how, despite how many heartless are destroyed, there will always be more to spawn.
